A WHEY COOL PROTEINBeatrice

Are you one of the millions of people that are confused about WHEY PROTEIN?  What IS WHEY PROTEIN? Why is it that WHEY PROTEIN is promoted so much in health food stores, health magazines and even body builder magazines?

Well, don’t feel bad! It took me an extensive amount of time and effort to research Whey Protein and to completely understand the health benefits of Whey Protein and to fully understand what is a good (high) quality Whey Protein, and why Whey Protein is so valuable to improving and maintaining good Health.

WHAT IS WHEY PROTEIN?

Whey Protein is a component of any mammal’s milk, which includes cow milk, goat milk, sheep milk, and of course human milk. Human breast milk is composed of about 60% Whey. This one piece of information tells us how extremely important Whey Protein is for the proper development of a new born baby.

The composition of MILK is complex and includes WHEY. Milk also includes Lactose, Casein, Colostrum, Triglycerides, Short chain fatty acids, Minerals and Vitamins. According to the Vikipedia Encyclopedia, “Whey Protein from cow, (which is the Whey most commonly used), is composed of four major protein fractions. These four major protein fractions are beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, bovine serum albumin, and immunoglobulins. Each of these components has very important disease-fighting attributes. In addition, WHEY is EASILY DIGESTED and has the highest Biological Value (BV) of any known protein”.

BE CAREFUL IN THE MARKET!

In the market, Whey Protein typically comes in three major forms: Concentrate, Isolate, and HydrolysateBe careful: Isolates and Hydrolysates are bi-products of cheese manufacturing, and usually use the lowest / cheapest quality cheese.  Cheap cheese manufacturing requires extreme processing by using high heat pasteurization and several acidic baths.  Unfortunately, this process has the bad side effect of breaking down the most precious and nutritious components of Whey Protein and hence, RENDER THEM TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE TO THE BODY!  Be Careful: Most Whey Protein supplements on the market are made from Isolate or Hydrolysate forms of Whey Protein and NOT from CONCENTRATE.  In short, this means that IF a Whey Protein product is NOT made from a CONCENTRATE and it is NOT made in a NON-DENATURED form, then it is NOT a valuable source of protein or even worse, it can be DETRIMENTAL to the body.

On the other hand, a WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE that is made from RAW MILK and processed only at VERY LOW temperatures, WILL ALLOW all of the precious and nutritious components of the Whey to stay intact, and this means that WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE has extremely positive health effects on / for the body.

WHAT ABOUT DAIRY INTOLERANCE?

For many years, I have known and recognized the marvelous benefits of raw milk, but I always had a question for people (like me) that are truly intolerant to cow milk and unable to consume even fresh organic raw milk.  Now I have an answer for these people: NON-DENATURED WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE!  Even if a person is intolerant to lactose and casein, the chances that this person will be intolerant to high quality Whey Protein Concentrate is extremely minute.  A non-denatured Whey Protein Concentrate made from raw milk has all the benefits and advantages of drinking raw milk without having the inconvenience of indigestibility of lactose or casein.  You may have had a bad experience with Whey Protein in the past (as I did), but I now believe that it was mostly because of the poor quality of Whey Protein (using the Isolate or Hydrolysate process) that you may have purchased.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE MAJOR BENEFICIAL COMPONENTS OF WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE?

• Whey Protein Concentrate contains Lactoferrin, which is like “Gold” for the immune system.  A child that is breastfed does not get sick even if he touches dirt, animals, and food with his fingers.  The main reason for this is because of the high amount of Lactoferrin contained in the breast milk that protects his immune system.  Lactoferrin helps any damaged tissue to grow back very quickly; this is why infants repair so fast.  It also enhances iron absorption when needed, and can act as an anti-inflammatory agent.

• Whey Protein Concentrate contains Growth Factors which help regenerate aged or injured tissues, build and retain muscle, process energy sufficiently, enhance immunity, support blood sugar balance and improve brain function.

• Whey Protein Concentrate contains Immunoglobulins which help the digestive tract.  It has been shown to improve lactose intolerance by healing intestinal permeability.  It also has numerous known benefits for the immune system.

• Whey Protein Concentrate contains Serum Albumin which helps the production of glutathione, regulates weight, suppresses appetite, and regulates blood pressure.

WHAT ARE THE AMAZING PROPERTIES OF
WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE?

• Whey Protein Concentrate increases Glutathione production. Glutathione is the best known antioxidant to the body.  In other words, Glutathione helps our body to fight the aging process and to detoxify efficiently.  Glutathione is made up of three amino-acids: L-cysteine, L-glycine, and L-glutamate. Glutathione levels are extremely important to keep a healthy body: energy, bones, muscles, immunity, liver, kidneys, lungs and regeneration of any cells. It helps fighting asthma, and to eliminate toxins and heavy metals.

• Whey Protein Concentrate has amazing benefits for the Immune System. It is antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal. Studies have shown that it can eradicate H. Pylori, E.Coli, and Cryptosporidum infections in the digestive system.  They also studied the benefits of Whey Proteins Concentrate on HIV patients and saw that it increased their Glutathione levels.

• Whey Protein Concentrate increases Bone Formation and thus helps in fighting osteoporosis.

• Whey Protein Concentrate has been shown to Protect from Breast and Prostate Cancer.

• Whey Protein Concentrate helps Reduce Appetite and Lose Weight when used in combination with appropriate diet and exercise.  It stabilizes Blood Sugar when taken in-between meals.  Whey Cool™ from Designs For Health is made of high quality non-denatured Whey Protein Concentrate thus, it is the perfect meal replacement or snack when a person is on a sensible weight loss program, or can be used as a convenient breakfast.

• Whey Protein Concentrate helps the body Detoxify. Whey Cool™ contains Cysteine which helps to remove Mercury; Leucine which stops Mercury from entering the brain and, Glutamine to heal the gut’s villi.

• Whey Protein Concentrate helps reduce Hypertension.  All Peptides contained in a non-denatured form of Whey Protein are necessary to regulate blood pressure.

• Whey Protein Concentrate increases Energy and participates in the recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

• Whey Protein Concentrate supports Athletic Performances, by promoting muscular development, increasing resistance and endurance.

The benefits of non-denatured Whey Protein Concentrate are nearly infinite, which makes Whey Cool™ from Designs for Health a Super Charged protein powder that is easy and convenient to use.  You can mix it with water, raw milk if you tolerate it, or almond, rice or coconut milk, and fruits such as berries.  I personally add a raw egg to increase protein levels and get more nutrients.  It makes a protein shake that tastes delicious and brings to your body all the nutrients necessary to start your day at an optimal energy level.  If you are like most people, you probably spend your morning racing against the clock and don’t have enough time to cook eggs and sautéed vegetables.  In this case, a protein shake is your best option, and Whey Cool™ from Designs for Health is so far the best choice I have encountered for all the reasons explained above.

ARE THE COWS PRODUCING WHEY FOR WHEY COOL™ "HAPPY COWS"?

This question is important for me as it is for many people. The answer is Yes!  The Whey Protein Concentrate used in Whey Cool™ from Designs For Health comes from a company that produces Proserum®.  The cows are grazing all year long in California on pesticide-free, chemical-free, natural grass pastures, and they don’t receive any hormones.  The quality of the food eaten by the cows is extremely important as this quality assures that the components and properties of the Whey will be present.  They are "Happy Cows", and are never raised on factory farms.  Their milk is rich in Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) which increases weight loss, prevents cancer, and helps promote normal insulin and cholesterol levels. A study showed that pasture-grazed cows had 500%more CLA than cows raised on factory farms. CLA is not produced by the body, so it must come from food like Whey or raw milk, butter, beef and lamb.

They are tasty and easy to digest, as well as very beneficial to your health.  Even if you don’t have any health issues, I believe that anyone can benefit from a high quality Whey Protein Concentrate, even if you are intolerant to dairy like me.  Finally you can have all the advantages of milk without any of its inconvenients.
